Corporate Social Responsibility at Emerson

Emerson Electric is dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, community engagement, and social responsibility. They implement energy-efficient manufacturing processes and invest in renewable energy projects to reduce their environmental footprint. Emerson also promotes diversity and inclusion with training sessions, employee resource groups, and equitable workplace policies and participating in environmental initiatives like tree planting and clean-up campaigns.

As an intern and just started a week ago, I am still observing and regarding with CSR projects I am well mentored of my Trainor that helps me to build up my skills.

The company keeps track of its environmental impact with its products and services. Moreover, they encourage employees to reduce carbon footprints and other campaigns.

I haven't worked in one personally, but I've read a lot about Emerson's initiative in the Philippines such as supporting STEM-related research and funding non-profit organizations.

Honestly, I don't have any projects that I encountered or worked on as an intern. I ranked the company's commitment to CSR based on what I understood and gained knowledge of during the orientations I attended.

There's trash segregation in the cafeteria and pantry, and employees are encouraged to bring lunchboxes, mugs, and tumblers.

You can join different groups or communities with various agenda, such as women's empowerment and more.

I think the best project they run was the University Training Program which everyone can enroll even the tenured employees especially if they are applying for new role.

None so far but hopefully soon I'll have a chance.

Time management and be careful to your task, especially when you book or invoice, you need to be careful and check if the information is correct.

Recently, the company organized a tree-planting for the environment. Personally, I have not yet joined any CSR groups inside the company.

The management sells their assets, and some of its portion goes to different foundations.
