Responsibilities
- Prepare various reports and analyses as needed to support the Payroll department
- Prepare, review and/or post journal entries for accurate record keeping.
- Prepare general ledger account analysis and reconciliation of payroll-related GA accounts.
- Prepare and maintain payroll accounting records for efficient access to information.
- Examine, review and interpret payroll accounting records to ensure accuracy.
- Respond to inquiries related to payroll for decision-making purposes.
- Understands month-end accounting close process and submits entries for approval to close out each month.
- Requires ability to process complex time-sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, and effectively communicate the related required actions.
Qualifications
- You possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Psychology/Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Above-average to excellent communication skills
- Entry Level/Fresh Graduate
- 3 – 4 years of Payroll Accounting experience
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively across different cultures
- Knowledge of accruals, accounts reconciliation, journal entries, accounts clearing and variance resolution (SAP) is a must
- Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (Day, Mid, Night Shift)
- Amenable to work in IBM Naga Site
Preferred Qualification
- Knowledge of and experience with SAP, Peoplesoft, and other HRMS applications is an advantage
