Management at Nestle Philippines

9.0
9.0 rating for Management, based on 49 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Given that my manager only has a few people who are working with her, she is quite busy to have a conversation and mentoring with me. But I do appreciate how she allows me to do some tasks for the brand and orient me about some things/projects.

They are very approachable and not intimidating.

Management at Nestle are very down-to-earth, and they make sure to care for your well-being as an employee. As mentors, they would always take the initiative to guarantee that you learn and practice giving feedback and recognition as much as possible.

My manager is very communicative and understanding. She was able to help me grow through giving me constructive feedback on how I can improve in certain aspects. Whenever I did something correctly, she would also give recognition to the things that I have accomplished.

My manager has been very accommodating throughout my internship. She makes a great mentor, praises/recognizes work deserving of it, and provides clear feedback.

Everyone is a good mentor. They are always there to assist you even if you are not directly reporting to them. They also give feedback, and recognitions.

My manager is loaded with works. However we have semi-annual check ups for our feedbacks.

I have built a great relationship with my managers/team. I can openly ask for help, and they would always give out time and constructive criticisms to improve my craft.
Intern, Philippines - 24 Jul 2024
The managers are all very approachable. They strike a balance between being a professional and being a good friend who guides you and pushes you to do more. The managers I encountered definitely take their time in doing performance feedback and recognition and one on one coaching with their subordinates.

The managers at our company are very approachable and very good at communicating. Personally, when I have questions, I can just ask away and from that, one can see their willingness to teach those who are under their wings. They have good managerial skills in not only people but in different problems as well.

My manager is relatively accessible. We have weekly alignment meetings. If I have a question, I can approach them at their desk when they're not having a meeting. I receive occasional feedback on my outputs. However, I personally wanted to ask my manager for their feedback on my work performance in relation to communication or productivity.

They're nice and give a lot of positive feedback and advice. They know how to manage their time and gave me the proper progression of tasks.

The managers are really good mentors. As a fresh grad, my mentors/managers are always there to guide me and help me gain new knowledge with our work. They also give praise and recognition and also points for improvement if it's needed, both in person and in our group chats.

They are always available if you have concerns. They make each moment a teaching moment. They give feedback on every task and we have processing moments on my performance and after task/event deliveries
Intern, Makati City - 20 Jul 2024
Again, my managers were very helpful and open in guiding me through work and also personally. They treated me as an equal, despite being an intern.
Intern, Makati City - 20 Jul 2024
Managers are easy to reach as long as they have free time considering their demanding schedules. Some managers are good mentors while others are more okay. Some managers exhibit a certain bias towards certain employees, a perspective that is hard to rectify.

As a management trainee, I am under the mentorship of my whole leadership team, and the foundation of what I know now as a people manager came from the coaching sessions I had with them. Communication from the management is very open, people can approach them whenever and however; feedback and recognition is also something frequently shared and promoted to be a best practice to do.

My line manager always helps me with what I need. We also have a monthly recognition

They are very approachable and accessible. They are also very open to feedback, and they value me a lot. The only issue I have is they do not always have respect for working hours and leaves.
