How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
As someone who lives quite far, it's been difficult for me to go home after 5pm as we need to clock out at the peak of rush hour.

I am very thankful that our company adapted the hybrid setup nowadays. If there will be an improvement, It has to be those working hours.

As mentioned above, Nestle observes a 3-day onsite work setup with the usual 9-hour workday. We are free to choose whether which day to file as work from home. Ideally, I hope it would be possible to have more flexible hours during onsite work days as I would end my work with nothing to do from time to time.

For work hours, I usually overtime because some tasks need to be prioritized until the end of the day. Usually I work 8hrs a day, 3x a week onsite and online for thursdays + fridays

I've never worked beyond 8/9 hours in the office. If I did go over 8 hours, it would usually be out of my own volition. My team was very reasonable to allow me to work from 8-5 instead of 9-6 so I could carpool with fellow interns.

I spend 9-11 hours in the office then after that need to continue working till late at night. But the best thing is that they can accommodate WFH 2x a week.

Working 9 to 6pm 3 to 4x a week is crucial for a new hire like me. Sometimes I have to work beyond 6pm to finish things and it feels tiring. However the managers let us rest and offset on some days.

As part of transport, I can say that one must learn to be flexible when it comes to work hours as transport never sleeps. That being said, I am still able to complete my rest days even if there are emergencies.

My manager is understanding of me having to leave early or take some days off to focus on my academic workload. For the most part, I only work within the designated working hours of 8AM-5PM.

The work hours in Nestle is the standard 8am - 5pm. But problem occurs when meetings are scheduled in a later time. Or when work crammed and needed the same/next day. Which causes overtime. There is no specific time for all employees. It ranges from 7am - 10am. Which causes imbalance in the scheduling
Intern, Makati City - 23 Jul 2024
My work hours are reasonable, and they encourage us to not do overtime if it's not needed. If there are circumstances in which I have to change my shift hours, they are fine with it as long as there is a good reason for the change of shift.

Being required to come in 8 hours is enough for us Interns to do the tasks we are assigned to so I believe it is fair. A

I speak only for myself on this one. I am still able to punch in and out in accordance with my daily shift schedule.
Graduate, Meycauayan - 19 Jul 2024
I usually spend 8 hours working daily. I would say there is minimal flexibility on the working hours as we try to stay in the same time zone depending which market we are in. But when really needed, management allow shifting of working hours. But in general, I am happy with my working hours, and only render compensated overtime when really needed.

Being in the field, we don't have exact working hours. Sometimes we have to attend to patients and doctors queries late at night, even on weekends.
Graduate, Manila - 17 Jul 2024
The company is quite flexible, but leads/managers do not always acknowledge the working schedule, and they expect you to work beyond the usual hours.
Graduate, Meycauayan - 16 Jul 2024
