Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with various teams to design, develop, and maintain software.
  • Research and learn specialized skills, applications, and technologies to increase necessary cross-functional knowledge to solve unique and diverse problems.
  • Perform unit, functional and automated testing to ensure the quality of the software, and that automated testing scripts are kept up to date.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of continuous integration development practices to enhance revision control and build automation efforts.
  • Participate in documenting and demonstrating product functionality to stakeholders and product owner.

What we expect from a suitable candidate

  • Current graduating student of Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in an internship course/subject from a reputable university. Preferably an Oracle University Partner.
  • Must be able to join the internship program by January 2025.
  • Must be able to complete undergraduate program by June to August 2025.
  • Must be able to work onsite/hybrid and full time (8 hours a day & 5 days a week).
  • Willing to continue a full-time role with Oracle Energy & Water after the internship program.
  • High aptitude in programming with a good understanding of Java & OOP theory.
  • Good understanding of relational database design and normalization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with the team.
  • Ability to work in a driven team environment.
  • Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts.
