For most students, what to study and where to begin their career are among the most daunting decisions they will face. Our mission is to help every student nail these critical decisions and get the best possible start to their career. Our directories are now used by 2.5m+ students per annum - a significant milestone for a product with zero external funding and zero marketing. Weโ€™re now hiring our first Senior Writer & Content Manager to help us lead Prospleโ€™s content to new levels.

Overview 

Location: 100% remote
Remuneration: Competitive based on experience

Your Role 

We are looking for Customer Success Consultants who are unconventional thinkers and are itching to punch above their weight. Youโ€™ll join a small but high-performance team and your work will have a direct impact on millions of students as they make arguably the most important decision of their life. Particularly, you will be focused on working with the team and clients at Prosple in ensuring the jobs and profiles on the Prosple network are set up for success.

This is a varied role, which may involve:

  • Online and administrative support
  • Updating and managing online content
  • Managing CRM and creating invoices
  • Analysing data and creating reports
  • Social media support
  • Liaising with clients, students and universities
  • Online and offline research
  • Basic graphic design support
  • Other projects and tasks as required.

Required

  • A rockstar communicator(Oral and written English)
  • Has high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational ability โ€“ ability to analyze, prioritise and manage competing tasks/projects
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Desirable

  • Experience with LiveChat and email support
  • Data analysis skills
  • Basic photo/video editing skills
  • Experience using any of the following will be highly regarded: Jira, Atlassian, Google Analytics, ActiveCampaign, LeadPages, SurveyGizmo/Alchemer, Adobe Photoshop, Copper CRM, Canva, Crisp, JustCall, Xero, and payment portals like Ariba/Coupa payment system, Content Management systems(CMS).
  • Experience using GSuite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc)

Recruitment Process

Most opportunities at Prosple will require the completion of a talent trial first. This allows us to assess your basic fit for the role.

Candidates who progress past this stage will have a series of interviews with Prosple team members. We'll be looking for how well your skills match the role and your alignment with our mission and values.

Pros

  • At Prosple, we are disruptors with a vision to help students find their dream job. It is both rewarding and challenging working for such an organisation, and seems to be a new innovation each week. Our organisational structure is quite flat, with each team member having a direct line to our Founders and Directors.

  • Having a high-performing team committed to our cause, with the freedom to do your best work without bureaucracy and people getting in your way.

  • Love that the ownership knows well where their priorities lie, that they don't succumb to the toxic "everything is a priority" trap that a huge majority of companies fall into. This has kept the company hyper focused, allowing it to achieve milestones one after the other, even amidst the pandemic. Also, borrowing from the book "Conscious Capitalism", Prosple has all the markings of a conscious company.

  • 100% remote work, flexible working hours, easy to interact with leaders and owners, possibility to suggest features to the product, participate along with leaders in the decisions, work on a product that actually helps others.

  • Superb company culture. High standards. Responsive to their employees needs and gives high importance to open communication. Prosple has a heart for all its clients and its team.

Cons

    • There can be some late nights during peak seasons from increased workloads.

    • Very occasionally, the sheer pace of Prosple's progress and growth can be fatiguing. Which is actually a positive if you're in the right mindset and have the right skills and attitude to embrace it.

    • Due to the nature of work (100% remote), it is difficult to get to know everyone

    • Work life balance can be challenging when everyone is such a high performer and expectations are high

    • Sometimes I had a hard time on looking for resources to use to do my job.
