Prosple is excited to announce our 2024 podcast internship program is now open for applications.

Weโ€™re hand-picking the best and brightest student students from around the world to join our elite program. Your mission? To help your fellow students get the best possible start to their career by creating careers-related content that informs and inspires.

Why join our internship program?

This is definitely not your average internship! As a Prosple intern, you'll be empowered to use your content production, interviewing, and research skills to create inspiring content to positively impact your student community, while also growing personally and professionally.

Gain invaluable experience & exposure

Youโ€™ll receive training & mentorship from our content gurus as you research interesting career paths, reach out to local graduates, conduct interviews, and publish content on Prospleโ€™s network of 200+ careers websites, with an audience of 10m users per year (and growing quickly!)

Grow your network

Being a Prosple intern will not only push you professionally, but also give you an invaluable opportunity to build incredible relationships for your future career. Youโ€™ll work with leading employers, thought leaders and influencers as you bring your content to life. Prosple interns are also connected with interns and mentors from different countries, giving you exposure to aspirational ideas and a global network.

Craft inspiring content

One of the key highlights of this internship is the chance to record, edit, and publish your own podcast episodes. Your task will be to source and interview interesting graduates, uncovering insights and stories that inform and inspire. With our guidance, you'll learn how to manage a podcast from end-to-end, right from scheduling interviews through to editing, publishing and promoting.

Get paid

The Prosple internship program is an opportunity to earn money while gaining experience and doing activities you already enjoy. Interns receive a generous payment per content piece produced, plus extra rewards for going above and beyond.

Here's what you can expect in terms of payment:

  • For each interview you conduct, you'll produce three valuable content pieces
  • You'll be compensated $100 for every set of three content pieces produced from one interview (typically takes 3-4 hours to produce)
  • Given our rapid growth, you'll have ample opportunities to scale up your earnings as you delve deeper into creating impactful content.

What type of content will I be producing?

Depending on your location, field of study, and prior experience, you may be invited to help us produce any or all of the following content types:

Who weโ€™re looking for

If you're the type of student who's naturally inquisitive, always asking questions, and genuinely excited about learning from others, you're exactly who we're looking for.

The Prosple internship program is open to all current university students and recent graduates looking to gain invaluable experience and build a portfolio of published content.

Prosple interns will ideally have a background of study in a relevant field such as writing, comms, journalism, PR etc.

Pros and cons of working at Prosple

Pros

  • At Prosple, we are disruptors with a vision to help students find their dream job. It is both rewarding and challenging working for such an organisation, and seems to be a new innovation each week. Our organisational structure is quite flat, with each team member having a direct line to our Founders and Directors.

  • Having a high-performing team committed to our cause, with the freedom to do your best work without bureaucracy and people getting in your way.

  • Love that the ownership knows well where their priorities lie, that they don't succumb to the toxic "everything is a priority" trap that a huge majority of companies fall into. This has kept the company hyper focused, allowing it to achieve milestones one after the other, even amidst the pandemic. Also, borrowing from the book "Conscious Capitalism", Prosple has all the markings of a conscious company.

  • 100% remote work, flexible working hours, easy to interact with leaders and owners, possibility to suggest features to the product, participate along with leaders in the decisions, work on a product that actually helps others.

  • Superb company culture. High standards. Responsive to their employees needs and gives high importance to open communication. Prosple has a heart for all its clients and its team.

Cons

    • There can be some late nights during peak seasons from increased workloads.

    • Very occasionally, the sheer pace of Prosple's progress and growth can be fatiguing. Which is actually a positive if you're in the right mindset and have the right skills and attitude to embrace it.

    • Due to the nature of work (100% remote), it is difficult to get to know everyone

    • Work life balance can be challenging when everyone is such a high performer and expectations are high

    • Sometimes I had a hard time on looking for resources to use to do my job.
