2022 Procurement Specialist (Start ASAP)

DESCRIPTION:

• Procures company supplies, assets, equipment, furniture, computers, vehicles, airlines and hotel bookings.
• Canvasses CapEx requirements and service contracts.
• Review and update the price of current suppliers and looks for alternative suppliers quarterly.
• Maintains and updates the database of company assets.
• Conducts systems registration of company assets.
• Ensures Proper Documentation of Asset Movements and Transfers.
• Assist in maintaining & updates voice & data equipment.
• Assist in procuring, negotiating & maintaining of company’s utility requirements.
• Provide suggestions on improving admin and procurement processes.
• Handles Other Errands as requests in need of assistance from admin personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related discipline is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as procurement, purchasing, specialist, buyer or equivalent 
• Financial acumen and experience in cost-reduction initiatives
• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills 
• Strong analytical skills, planning skills 
• Experience in Oracle system is an advantage
• Has strong exposure to negotiation 
• Highly trainable 
• Willing work in hybrid or face to face set up
