The Role

As a Timekeeping Staff, you will be responsible for implementing various activities involving timekeeping administration for SBC and its subsidiaries.

How you'll contribute

  • Prepares excel templates for holidays and shifts for uploading in the system
  • Prepares analysis of employees’ attendance
  • Handles concerns or questions regarding the HR Timekeeping module and other attendance-related concerns
  • Attends to requests for attendance-related data/transactions by the other unit
  • Coordinates with Labor Relations for the employees on prolonged sick leave to exempt them from any sanctions involving attendance violations
  • Prepares / Monitors Infraction Memos, Return to Work / Notice to Explain / Termination Memo, and perfect attendance for Staff employees
  • Maintains an accurate manual database for leave transactions and leave balances
  • Issues leave conforme / time block template as needed
  • Prepares payroll instruction for deduction reversal, OT adjustment due to promotion, reinstatement, and salary hold
  • Verifies leave, attendance, and employee schedule in the HR Timekeeping module
  • Review and audit employees’ schedules, leave, and attendance records to have reliable data
  • Employment Duration is for 1 year

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management
  • At least 6 months to 2 years of experience in Timekeeping, Payroll process, Benefits administration, and government-mandated benefits
  • Coordination, payroll administration, and records administration
  • Detail-oriented, can communicate with different types of employees, comfortable working with computations and numerical data

Pros

  • The best thing is how Security Bank cares for its employees' work-life balance. They are the only local bank to offer hybrid arrangements to head office employees.

  • Unlike other banks, Security Bank really makes me feel that I matter. Here, leaders are very approachable and visible.

  • I feel very rewarded and recognized. Personally, I've already been promoted 3x.

  • My managers are great mentors. They regularly hold alignments to make sure we are on track with projects.

  • We have a lot of online and face-to-face learning opportunities not only for technical skills but also soft skills.

Cons

    • Some leaders are still too traditional.

    • The company should focus on their salary pay. For me, it's very low.

    • It's slow and really not discussed often - something to improve to keep people happy.

    • Complex processes can be simplified. Benefits can be improved.

    • There is nothing too negative! If I had to answer, it would be that SBC is only present locally.
