The Role
As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for the proper recording of cash transactions and maintenance of books of accounts in accordance with the established guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepares financial and risk reports based on existing data to monitor and forecast risk exposures and line ailments.
- Prepares cash transactions (OR, CV, DM, CM) based on daily trades to ensure on-time and accurate settlement with third parties.
- Maintains upkeep of financial documents using the existing archiving policy to comply with file records retention regulations.
- Computes and executes tax payments by reconciling data and using BIR channels to comply with tax obligations.
- Recommend process improvement initiatives by reviewing existing procedures and comparing them with industry standards to achieve cost management and improved turn-around time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
- Knowledge of the basic cash transaction process, including receipts and disbursements
- Must be detail-oriented
- Able to communicate well with transacting parties

Some leaders are still too traditional.
The company should focus on their salary pay. For me, it's very low.
It's slow and really not discussed often - something to improve to keep people happy.
Complex processes can be simplified. Benefits can be improved.
There is nothing too negative! If I had to answer, it would be that SBC is only present locally.
